What You’ll Need
- Leafmill Ceremonial Matcha Powder
- Matcha whisk (chasen) or milk frother
- Tea bowl (chawan) or mixing bowl
Sifter (optional) - 2 oz warm water (160–175°F)
- Optional: milk or cold water for iced matcha or latte

Step 1
Sift the Matcha Powder
Sift 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of matcha into a tea bowl to remove clumps and ensure a smooth brew.

Step 2
Add Warm Water
Add 2 oz (60ml) of warm water (not boiling) to the bowl. Ideal temperature: 160–175°F (70–80°C).

Step 3
Whisk Until Frothy
Whisk in a “W” or “M” motion using a bamboo whisk until frothy.
